Middle School 6-8
Our Curriculum
At Landow Jewish Academy, our Middle School program serves as a crucial bridge between foundational learning in Lower School and the advanced, college-preparatory experience of Upper School. We focus on guiding students through a transformative period of intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth, empowering them to emerge as confident, capable, and compassionate leaders.
Our robust academic curriculum fosters mastery of core disciplines from English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, to specilized electives, while introducing greater depth and complexity to challenge students’ critical thinking and analytical skills. Students engage in advanced literacy and composition work, explore interdisciplinary STEM projects, and build strong mathematical reasoning through courses that prepare them for Algebra I and beyond.
Middle School students deepen their connection to heritage and tradition, developing their knowledge of Torah, Jewish history, holidays, and values. They explore ethical questions and strengthen their personal and communal identities through experiential learning and meaningful discussion.
Beyond the core curriculum, students benefit from a comprehensive selection of enrichment opportunities including visual and performing arts, music, drama, robotics, coding, and physical education. These experiences cultivate creativity, self-expression, teamwork, and resilience.
