Admissions

New Student Admission Steps

We're grateful for your interest in joining the Landow family. Here is how the process works.

Before You Apply

Gather these documents

Landow's admissions process is selective, and we take great care in welcoming each new student. Please request the following from your child's current school. You'll upload them with the enrollment form.

  • Report card / academic transcript from the previous school year
  • Standardized test scores from the previous school year
  • Updated immunization and health records

Questions? Contact Admissions Director Louise Uzan at info@ljaonline.com or (305) 548-9023.

Good news: with our expanded new campus we no longer hold an admissions lottery, so there is room for your child.

Complete the admissions application

Fill out the New Student Application in our application portal. The application fee is $500 per child.

Apply for scholarships, if needed

No family should be kept from a Jewish education for financial reasons. We help families apply to community and government programs, including Chinuch Yehudi, Oorah, Nechomas Yisrael and Step Up For Students.

Academic assessment & entrance interview

Schedule your child's assessment and interview through the application portal. Assessments run Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the math and reading assessment takes about three hours with breaks. Landow is a college-preparatory school; if a student is below grade level on our assessment, the family arranges private tutoring.

Sign the tuition contract

After you apply and pay registration fees, we'll email you the tuition contract for the year to sign and return.
