Music is one of the most joyful parts of the day at Landow Jewish Academy. If you're searching for a school with a great music program for kids in Fort Lauderdale, here's what makes ours special.
Music in every grade
Music is part of the curriculum in our Lower School and Middle School, growing with students as they move through the grades alongside art and drama.
A dedicated music studio
Our new campus includes a music studio where students explore rhythm, melody and performance.
On stage with confidence
School productions give kids the chance to sing, perform and shine. Standing on a stage builds the kind of confidence that shows up everywhere else.
The sound of Shabbat
Every week, Kabbalat Shabbat fills the school with music, food and words of Torah — connecting children to Jewish tradition through song.
Why music matters
Music strengthens memory, focus, language and teamwork. It also gives children a creative outlet and a love of the arts that lasts a lifetime. It pairs naturally with our art and STEM programs.
